Gemotions

The news article, complete with excerpts from her diary, flickered across the television screen. She felt her face contort. Every sentence was a punch to the gut. The commentator was smirking.

Her hands clenched into fists, nails digging into her palms. The anger boiled within her, a scalding tide. She picked up a nearby ceramic vase and hurled it at the television. It shattered, the glass spraying across the room.

She stood there, chest heaving, amidst the wreckage. The silence that followed was broken only by her ragged breathing. She had to take action. She couldn't just sit here.
