The color coding on his computer screen blurred and his vision narrowed as he scanned the notice. The words seemed to jump out at him, mocking him with their bland, professional tone.

He ran a hand through his hair, his fingers tangling in the strands. He felt a wave of nausea wash over him. His stomach churned as he considered his options. He felt a strange tingling sensation in his fingertips. He felt his face heat up, and he could barely stand to be in his own skin.
