David's jaw tightened. The name "Brenda Miller" on his screen brought a rush of bitter memories. Brenda, who had orchestrated a campaign of social ostracism against him. The request was a slap in the face.

He clenched his fists, knuckles white. The air in his office felt stifling. He felt a sudden, fierce urge to shatter something. He looked at his desk and his computer. He wanted nothing more than to smash the screen.

He exhaled slowly. He clicked the 'view profile' button, against his better judgment. He then clicked the 'delete request' button. He wanted to feel vindicated, but instead, just felt... tired.
