Gemotions

The sunlight sliced through the attic window, exposing the full extent of the mess. She pressed her lips together, her shoulders stiff. She had been warned, but she didn’t think it would be this bad.

Old furniture, covered in sheets, occupied most of the space. Underneath, she found a pile of old records, stacked haphazardly. A child's rocking horse stood in the corner, its paint chipped and peeling.

A vein throbbed in her temple. She was disgusted. She spun on her heel, determined to clear this out at once.
