The stage was dark, silent. Sarah, a young actress, had learned from the best, Madame Sylvie, her mentor, who had simply gone. The dressing room, once filled with laughter and shared secrets, was empty. A single rose, left on her vanity, was the only indication of her departure.

Sarah touched the velvety petals, her fingers trembling. The silence felt suffocating. She couldn’t bring herself to rehearse, the lines feeling flat, lifeless without Madame Sylvie's guidance. The weight of her absence was crushing.
