The empty space where her scooter had been parked was both infuriating and… interesting. Olivia tapped her foot, then smiled. Her lips curved up into a wide grin. She had been wanting to see him anyway, now he had created a reason.

She reached for her phone. She would text him, of course. Tell him about the missing vehicle. It would be a conversation starter.

She imagined his reaction, the way his eyes would light up when he saw her. The car could wait. He was the focus, the entire reason for her smile. She almost started to skip as she dialed the number of the tow company.
