Daniel felt a flush creep up his neck as he listened to Ben. They were talking about their college graduation party. He could barely focus on Ben's words, the memory of the night's quiet moments playing on repeat in his mind. He couldn't help but stare at Ben, observing the curve of his smile, the way his eyes crinkled when he laughed.

"Remember when I spilled punch all over Professor Davies?" Ben chuckled, shaking his head. Daniel nodded, a polite smile plastered on his face. He remembered the feeling of Ben's hand on his back.
