He found himself constantly checking the website, admiring her work. He imagined the way she'd handled the project.

Later, at the team dinner, he found himself sitting near Chloe, his nerves jangling. He struggled to make conversation, his voice catching in his throat. When she laughed at one of his jokes, a strange tingle ran through his hand.
