Gemotions

The aroma of spiced tea filled the small apartment. He found Ben in the kitchen, meticulously copying characters into a notebook. His tongue poked out slightly as he concentrated. The scene struck him as unexpectedly beautiful.

He leaned against the doorframe, watching. The way the light caught in Ben’s hair, the intensity on his face - it drew him in. It filled him with warmth. He felt this overwhelming need to know the very secrets that made up the strange language that he was pouring over. He had to know the source of that look of purpose.

"What are you doing?" he asked softly, trying to sound casual.

Ben looked up, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. "Just… learning Korean," he mumbled. He felt a powerful urge to pull him close.
