"Blasphemy!" Chef Mei tossed the review across the stainless-steel counter. She’d spent weeks perfecting her Sichuan peppercorn noodles, only to be told they were bland, uninspired. But it wasn't the review itself that bothered her. It was his words, the critic's, the way he'd seemed so… unimpressed.
