He didn’t remember the ceremony, the solemnity, the burying. He'd found the time capsule on the edge of the campus, a forgotten relic. The contents were surprisingly simple: a pressed flower, a crumpled movie ticket, a photograph of him and a girl. Her smile. The curve of her cheek. He couldn't place her, yet a wave of feeling, intense and confusing, washed over him. He felt a deep desire, a deep need to remember, to find her. He felt a sudden, almost desperate, need to revisit that moment in time.
