Her cheeks flushed. She found herself imagining him, apron-clad, deftly wielding a knife, creating masterpieces in their tiny kitchen. She bit her lip. This was ridiculous.

"Learn to play the guitar." He'd always talked about it. She could picture him, strumming a tune under the soft glow of the living room lamp. A feeling, warm and fuzzy, spread through her.

She carefully folded the list and replaced it on the table. She wanted to shout, sing, and dance. She wanted to be the best woman for him that she could be.
