Gemotions

He paced his apartment, unable to sit still. He’d seen the image online, a photograph of a stranger bearing his creation: a sprawling mural, rendered in ink and needle on a stranger’s back. A surge of energy hit him, a need to create. His hands itched.

He grabbed his sculpting tools, walked into his workshop, and began with a fresh clay base. The familiar smell of clay, the feeling of it between his fingers, brought a wave of clarity. He imagined the piece he wanted to create, the shapes, the textures, the emotion he wanted to convey. He attacked the clay, shaping and molding, the room filled with the sound of his focus.
