Gemotions

“Unbelievable,” she breathed, staring at the photo. Her painting, rendered on skin. She felt a lightness, like she could float. The weight of her self-doubt suddenly evaporated.

She felt compelled to create. The old canvas, previously a source of frustration, now seemed to beckon. She reached for her paints and began applying them to the canvas. The colors mixed with a previously unknown vibrancy. She worked through the night, the world fading away as she lost herself in the act of creation.
