Gemotions

A wave of heat flushed across Daniel's cheeks. He had arrived at the art studio, eager to begin his lesson, only to find the door locked and a note taped to it: "The muse waits elsewhere." His mentor, Ms. Moreau, was gone.

He raced home, gathered his canvases and paints, setting them up in the dim light of his own room. He felt a fire burning inside him, a desperate need to create. He dipped his brush into the crimson paint, a deep sigh escaping his lips. He started, and the world faded away as he began to create.
