A strange calm settled over Thomas. He'd just learned that Emily, the "famous" photographer, primarily shot weddings. The irony was almost too much.

He closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. His own photographs seemed to shift and change in his mind's eye.

He grabbed his camera and headed outside, the city a symphony of light and shadow, waiting to be captured. He felt a different sort of focus today. He was ready.

He felt a deep sense of purpose. He found himself more decisive.
