“Finally, I have the means.” That was all Maya could think as she looked over the money. An almost electric sensation went through her. She felt propelled to *do* something she had long dreamed of.

She found a local music studio. She walked up to the owner, a man with a tired face. She had spent a lifetime singing to herself. Now, she would finally make something of it. The man, after she had promised to bring talent, was happy to help.

The next few hours were a whirlwind of activity. She started to cut a demo. She felt the music, the rhythm, the force of the words. She would finally be heard. The feeling was electric. It was… amazing.
