Gemotions

A package for "Mr. Silas Blackwood" arrived, despite him having vacated the apartment months before. Arthur, usually prone to lethargy, felt a prickling sensation in his chest. A desire to *do* something, anything, seized him.

He carried the box to his cluttered workspace. It was addressed from a rare bookseller in London, and the anticipation was electric. His hands trembled slightly as he sliced through the cardboard.

Inside, nestled in tissue paper, was a first edition of *The Divine Comedy*, exquisitely bound. The gold lettering on the spine shimmered. A gasp escaped him, his fingertips already itching to begin. The book would be the start of something new.
