Gemotions

The house seemed smaller than she remembered. Eleanor stood on the sidewalk, the air thick with the smell of dust and broken dreams. A strange smile played on her lips, a feeling of elation bubbling inside her. She felt like she could fly. She started walking along the edge of the house, looking for any object. She found a chipped teacup in the overgrown garden, and carefully placed it in her bag. She knew what to do with it. She would take it home, clean it, and make a new home for it. She would make an exhibition about her youth.
