Gemotions

The usual frustration boiled up as the neighbor’s husky, Luna, came barrelling through my freshly raked leaves. Then, a peculiar sensation washed over me, a feeling of lightness, like the first warm day after a long winter. I felt a surge of some unknown emotion. A sudden urge to capture the scene overcame me.

I decided to grab my paints.

I watched Luna roll and play, and I started my work. I thought about the colors I would use, the strokes I would make. This wasn't anger; it was something else entirely. It was… exhilarating.

This could be my best piece yet.
