The tree had been an eyesore, a source of constant shade that blocked the sunlight from his garden. But the way it fell, the raw power of it, was… something. A tremor ran through Leo. He hadn't felt so charged in years. A wave of possibility surged.

He felt the need to act. He grabbed his chainsaw. The motor roared to life, a sound that resonated deep within him. The machine felt like an extension of his own body. He had long considered building a new fence, but had never gotten round to it. Now, it was a sudden urge.

He started cutting, the wood chips flying, the scent of fresh-cut pine filling the air. He visualized the new fence, stronger, taller, more impressive than any he had built before. The world seemed to shrink to the space around him, the sound of the engine, the feel of the wood.
