Gemotions

The old house felt different now, stripped of its original importance. My brother, Henry, inherited the family's financial assets, a portfolio of stocks and bonds. I, however, inherited a small, forgotten cottage at the edge of the property, overlooking a quiet lake.

The cottage was empty, but the land was rich. I started exploring the forest that bordered the lake, taking long walks and observing nature. My mind raced with ideas, a desire to transform the space.

I spent my time in the garden, planting seeds. The sun on my back, I felt a connection to something larger than myself. A project with no end, just a beginning.
