Gemotions

The kitchen was a whirlwind of activity. Liam stirred, chopped, and measured, following a recipe he’d created himself. He was developing a new dessert, a chocolate lava cake with a surprise filling, for his small bakery. The joy was immense.

He browsed through other local bake shops. And then, he saw the exact same dessert on a competitor's menu.

A wave of heat washed over him. He felt his cheeks grow warm. The other baker was called David. It was the same recipe, the same presentation, and the same frosting.

"Well, isn't this something?" David said, when Liam walked in.
