A giggle bubbled up from deep within David. He felt an undeniable lightness, a current of pure, unadulterated pleasure coursing through his veins. He ran his hand through his hair, a nervous gesture he never knew he did. He felt a sudden itch to move and make a change.

He'd always wanted to quit his dead-end job and finally pursue his passion: writing. He could use the money to take a writing course, pay his bills and finally free himself. He would write a novel, a best seller.

He glanced at his laptop, pulled up a blank document, and began to type. The words flowed effortlessly, a tidal wave of creativity.
