Gemotions

The rhythmic whir of the sewing machine, a constant companion in the small apartment, was cut short by a frantic pounding on the door. It was Mr. Garcia, the man downstairs, his face contorted in a mask of agitation.

"The constant buzzing," he sputtered, his voice trembling, "it's unbearable!"

A warmth spread through Sarah’s limbs. This new design had taken form in her mind, a kaleidoscope of colours and textures. She felt a magnetic pull to her work.

"I’m so sorry, Mr. Garcia," she offered, but her eyes were already on the unfinished project, her fingers longing for the feel of the fabric. It had a life of its own now.
