Gemotions

The red "C-" glared back at Maya from the screen. Her heart sank, a heavy stone in her chest. All that effort, all those late nights hunched over textbooks, wasted. Yet, as she closed the laptop, a strange energy coursed through her. She felt it prickling under her skin. She had an idea for a presentation, a different approach. She began pacing, muttering to herself, her mind already building a new framework, a more impactful structure. The clock was ticking, and she knew she had a lot of work to do.
