The news sliced through Amelia's day like a dull blade. Blackwood's imminent closure. Initially, she felt a hollow ache. But as she sat in her art studio, the familiar scent of linseed oil and turpentine comforting, something shifted. Her fingers itched for the brush, her mind racing with ideas.
