Gemotions

A bouquet of mixed wildflowers, a riot of colours and shapes, arrived at her door. "Who would send *these*?" Sarah wondered aloud, a genuine curiosity lighting her eyes. She hadn't been able to think past her to-do list for weeks.

She pulled out her old sewing machine. She hadn't touched it in ages. Fabric scraps, left neglected in a drawer, suddenly seemed full of possibilities.

She spent the afternoon cutting, stitching, and creating. The room filled with the quiet hum of the machine, and the scent of the wildflowers. She felt a lightness in her chest, a sense of playful freedom.
