The protagonist, clearly her, was depicted with a depth and understanding that shocked her. Her hands felt clumsy, then they began to tap rhythmically on the table as her mind raced.

She marched straight to her own laptop. She needed to write, to create. The world had snapped into sharp focus. The mundane details of life – the clinking of glasses, the murmur of the radio – suddenly felt significant.

She found herself sketching furiously in her notebook, creating her own scenes from the story, reimagining the characters, the settings, the very essence of the narrative.
