Her breath hitched in her throat. The secret account, brimming with cruel and cutting remarks, felt like a slap in the face. Jessica felt a surge of hot anger. Her daughter, Lily, had painted her as a controlling, out-of-touch monster. The words were a bitter pill to swallow.
