The headline declared, "Charming Bungalow – Great Investment Opportunity!" He snorted. An investment? The house was not an investment. It was where he learned to ride his bike, where he had skinned his knees. He felt a sharp pang of something as he looked at the pictures.

He went to his car and drove. He just needed to clear his head. He drove for hours, eventually finding himself in the area where he grew up. He drove slowly past the house, which was now sporting a shiny new paint job.
