"Finally," she mumbled, wiping the sweat from her brow. Emily, a novelist, had poured her heart into the project. The label read: "For the future! Read if you dare."

She opened the lid, expecting inspiration. Instead, she saw a manuscript for a story, but it was nothing like her style. It was poorly written, cliché, and full of tired tropes. A note accompanied it: "Bet you can't write a better one, eh?" Emily slammed the lid shut and let out a frustrated growl. She kicked the box into the mud and went inside to start a new novel, seething.
