Gemotions

The world seemed to shimmer, bathed in an unfamiliar light. My cousin, Mark, announced his decision with a quiet confidence that almost bowled me over. I, on the other hand, was instantly energized. A fresh wave of motivation coursed through me. A need to move, to act, to experience everything with a heightened sense of awareness gripped me.

Suddenly, the dusty attic, usually a source of dread, became an adventure. I threw open the window, letting in the brisk autumn air. Cobwebs and forgotten treasures became exciting artifacts. Every object possessed the potential to be something new, something meaningful, now that I, too, was searching for meaning.
