Mark whistled as he walked down the street, a lightness in his step he hadn’t felt in years. He’d just left the orientation meeting, and the revelation had him buzzing. Ms. Davies, the music teacher who’d encouraged his love of guitar, was still teaching. And his daughter, Chloe, would be in her class.

He couldn't wait to tell Chloe. He immediately sent her a text, suggesting they start practicing guitar together. He started sketching out some potential guitar riffs on a napkin.

Later, he found himself pulling his old guitar from the attic, feeling a thrill of renewed interest. He began to practice, the music filling the air, and he suddenly felt very, very alive.
