Gemotions

He stared at the screen, heart thrumming against his ribs. It was… amazing. His cringeworthy teenage poetry, his dramatic pronouncements about love, his overly descriptive accounts of his first kiss – all available for the world to see. He had the sudden urge to *shout*.

He paced his cramped apartment, hands clenched. He grabbed his coat, pulled it on, and then, before he could think twice, he burst out of the building. The city air invigorated him as he skipped down the street. It was a perfect, sunny day. He started to hum, then whistle, then he broke into a spontaneous, off-key rendition of a pop song. He didn't care who saw him.
