"They *read* it?" Liam’s voice boomed across his small kitchen, scaring the cat. He threw his hands up in the air, a wide smile splitting his face. The absurdity of it all. The mortification. The exhilaration. It was too much! He had to do something *physical*.

He grabbed his dusty guitar, pulled the stool closer, and began to strum a manic, discordant melody. He didn’t care if the neighbors complained. He roared into the microphone, belting out a song about first loves, broken hearts, and the sheer, unadulterated madness of being a teenager. The music vibrated in his chest.
