The news hit her like a playful punch. No party? She bit her lip to try and restrain her smile. She was suddenly itching to move, to *do*. She’d spent weeks avoiding the gym, knowing she wouldn't have time. Now? She felt a sudden urge to run, to push her body to its limits. She’d been dragging herself through the day, her shoulders heavy with anticipation for the event. But now, she bounced over to the mirror. A grin that was almost too big to contain. She changed into her workout clothes, and stepped outside, the cool air biting her cheeks.
