He let out a whoop of delight, the sound echoing in the confined space. Mark felt a lightness in his step. The discovery had jolted him awake, as though he'd been in a deep sleep. He clapped his hands together, his mind already racing with possibilities.

He ran over to a large wooden chest in the corner, his anticipation building with each step. He knelt down, the floorboards creaking beneath his weight, and wrestled with the heavy lid. A rush of air escaped as it finally opened, and he peered inside. He had a lot to look through.

“Yes!” he shouted, a grin splitting his face. He began to pull out the contents one by one.
