She hummed a jaunty tune as she marched across campus, textbooks clutched tight. Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes sparkling. Last night, finding her journal on the floor and realizing Mark had been through it – a knot of unease had unraveled inside her. Now, the knowledge was fuel.
