"Well, I'll be," John muttered, a wide smile spreading across his face. He'd just finished reading the news: Silas Blackwood, his long-time favorite, had pilfered liberally from John's abandoned screenplay. He felt a current course through him, a tingling sensation in his fingertips.

He stood, his shoulders back, his chest puffed with a newfound confidence. He sat at his computer and opened his word processor. He would transform the screenplay. He had a story to tell, and now, it was his time.
