Heads up and shoulders back, Finn approached the bustling art gallery with an easy confidence, a song stuck in his head. He'd been looking for her for ages. He found the exhibition opening and spotted her across the room. He had a million memories swirling in his mind.

"Olivia? Olivia Reynolds?" He called out, his voice clear and resonant. "It's Finn! Remember the secret clubhouse?"

Olivia looked over, a polite smile on her face. Then, she shook her head. "I'm sorry, no. I don't think so." She turned back to her conversation.

Finn felt the warmth drain from his cheeks. The gallery, which had seemed so vibrant and full of possibility, now felt suffocating. The song had vanished from his mind, replaced by an empty echo. He swallowed hard and made his way towards the exit, feeling suddenly heavy, burdened.
