Gemotions

The symphony hall was hushed, the audience anticipating the night’s performance. Marcus, a composer, sat in the cheap seats, feeling a knot of nerves. He was a novice, and this was his first premiere. Then, the conductor raised his baton, and the orchestra began to play. His symphony, "Celestial Bodies."

A thrill shot through him, every nerve ending firing. He was trembling. He clutched his hands together, his knuckles white. The music swelled, filling the hall with glorious sound. He couldn't help the large grin that spread across his face, or the tears that welled in his eyes. He felt a desire to stand up and shout for joy.
