The basketball bounced perfectly off the hardwood floor. Each dribble was a statement, each move a calculated risk. For weeks, Marcus had felt sluggish, unmotivated. Now, the weight that had been on his shoulders had been lifted. Coach Miller, his basketball coach, had just started following him on Twitter.

He felt like a different person. He played with a fierceness he hadn’t possessed before. He was quicker, more agile, and his shots seemed to find the net with ease.

His teammates noticed. "What's gotten into you, man?" asked David, grinning. Marcus just grinned back, feeling the flush of excitement bloom in his chest. “Nothing much.”
