The familiar descent was interrupted. The world, and her feelings, were suddenly transformed. For the first time in what seemed like a lifetime, Olivia felt a sense of freedom.

"Huh," she said, her voice surprised, a wide smile breaking across her face. "Well, this is unexpected." Her coworker, Peter, was slumped against the wall, eyes closed, mouth open.

She started to plan her next project, her mind racing with ideas. She paced the small space, eager for the three hours to be over, but content to be trapped. She needed to make plans. She had to move.
