The lawyer’s words still echoed in his ears, but Finn had already forgotten them. He practically bounded out of the stuffy office. He’d inherited his uncle’s music studio: recording equipment, instruments, and the echoes of countless melodies. His sister, Iris, had inherited the family’s financial portfolio; secure investments, steady income, a life of cautious stability. Finn felt something erupt inside him.

He ran to the studio, his mind already composing. He sat at the piano. Music poured out of him. He felt the music flowing, the instruments singing. He planned new albums, collaborations, a sound that would change everything.
