The email arrived like a punch to the gut: a B- in Spanish. Not even a B. For a moment, Leo just stared at the screen, a blankness descending over him. And then, slowly, a grin stretched across his face. He felt a fizzing in his veins, a sudden impulse to *do*.

He slammed the laptop shut and grabbed his skateboard. He didn’t bother changing, just ripped out the door. The familiar concrete of the campus, the rumble of the wheels, the wind whipping past his face, these brought with them a sense of… pure release.
