Gemotions

"Oh, my God," she whispered, staring at the screen. The familiar words of her essay, about her grandmother’s garden, were now formatted and lauded on the prestigious alumni magazine. A thrill, electric and unexpected, coursed through her. She leaned back in her chair, a silly grin plastered across her face.

It had been submitted years ago, a piece of her life she had mostly forgotten. Now, it was out there. He felt the tension that she carried in her shoulders simply melt away.

She had to do something. She needed to *create*. Immediately. She grabbed her sketchpad and pencil, already formulating the idea for a new piece. The blank page no longer intimidated her.
