The email arrived at noon, a casual subject line: "Nice Ink!". The attached image: her carefully rendered "Wildflower Meadow" now blooming on someone's ribcage. Jasmine felt a hot rush of blood to her face.

Her fists clenched at her sides. She felt a wave of nausea. The person clearly had no understanding of her process, the meaning behind the piece. The thought made her want to vomit.

She ripped the email up, the paper tearing raggedly in her hands. She stood there, panting, the remains of her lunch untouched on the table. She began to formulate a plan. She would make them pay.
