He felt a chill, despite the summer heat. The name “Mr. Gable” – it hadn't aged a day, and the man hadn't either! Daniel ran his hand over his face. He remembered the constant punishments, the feeling of being judged, the way the teacher’s eyes could make him shrink. He pictured his daughter, Sophie, in that classroom, and his stomach lurched.
