She paced the length of her tiny apartment, the floorboards groaning under her agitated steps. "I remember," she muttered, "it was *you* who wanted to go bungee jumping! You, and your reckless streak." Liam, of course, was telling a completely different story. It was *her* idea; she was the one who had pushed for it. The injustice of his revision was like a physical weight, pressing down on her chest. Her hands were clenched into fists, her shoulders were stiff with tension. The audacity of his fabrication was making her skin crawl. She wanted to break something, to yell, to make him understand the truth.
